Style Bridge Global LLC (“SBG,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the SBG Marketplace application, website, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to users.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on how you use SBG Marketplace, we may collect:
• Contact information, including name, email address, telephone number, and physical, mailing, shipping, or billing address.
• Account and identity information, including user ID, login-related information, user role, verification information, and seller, artisan, or partner onboarding records.
• Purchase and transaction information, including products, order history, prices, discounts, commissions, payment status, shipment, customs, delivery, return, and refund records.
• User content, including messages, support requests, product listings and descriptions, photos, videos, reviews, designs, AI prompts, shipment notes, barcode scans, receiving records, and item-condition evidence.
• Usage information, including app launches, page and product views, taps, clicks, searches, favorites, marketplace activity, scanner activity, and promotion or pricing actions.
• Diagnostic and security information, including crash data, performance data, browser, operating system, device, authentication, fraud-prevention, and technical diagnostic information.
• Other information you choose to submit through the app or website.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
• Create, verify, secure, and manage accounts.
• Operate the marketplace and its buyer, seller, artisan, partner, inventory, barcode-scanning, shipment, and receiving features.
• Process and document orders, payments, commissions, customs, shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, and customer service.
• Review product listings, pricing, promotions, verification records, and marketplace activity.
• Respond to inquiries and communicate about accounts, transactions, requests, services, and policy changes.
• Provide requested AI-assisted search, product identification, and data services.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, enforce agreements, and protect users and SBG.
• Diagnose technical problems, measure performance, and improve our services.
• Meet legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
• Create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
3. PAYMENTS
Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or M-PESA. Payment information entered directly into a provider’s hosted service is handled according to that provider’s privacy policy. SBG may receive transaction details such as payment status, amount, date, order reference, and limited payment-method information. We do not intend to receive complete payment-card numbers entered through a hosted payment service.
4. AI-ASSISTED FEATURES
When you choose to use an AI-assisted feature, prompts, product information, images, or related content may be transmitted to service providers that help deliver the requested function. Do not submit unnecessary confidential, financial, medical, or highly sensitive personal information through an AI prompt.
5. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share information:
• With sellers, artisans, sourcing partners, regional partners, buyers, and other marketplace participants when necessary to complete a transaction, shipment, inspection, request, or service.
• With payment, shipping, customs, warehouse, delivery, hosting, database, authentication, communications, analytics, diagnostics, security, fraud-prevention, AI, legal, and compliance providers.
• With professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, SBG, or the public.
• With a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or transfer of business assets.
SBG does not sell or rent personal information. We do not use collected data to track users across unrelated third-party apps or websites for targeted advertising without any notice or choice required by law.
6. DATA LINKED TO YOU
Information such as contact details, user ID, purchases, user content, usage activity, and support records may be linked to your account or identity where needed to provide and secure the service.
7. CAMERA, PHOTOS, AND BARCODE SCANNING
With your permission, the app may access the camera or photo library to scan barcodes, identify products, upload product images, verify shipment condition, or submit other requested content. Camera and photo access can be controlled through your device settings.
8. LOCATION
SBG does not collect precise or coarse device location unless a specific feature requests it and you grant permission. Shipping or physical addresses that you provide are treated as contact and transaction information.
9. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Our website and app may use cookies, local storage, session technologies, or similar tools for authentication, security, preferences, performance, and analytics. Browser or device settings may allow you to control some of these technologies.
10. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary according to the information and the purpose for which it was collected.
11. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
SBG operates with users, partners, and service providers in the United States, Kenya, and other countries. Your personal information may be accessed, processed, or stored outside your country. Before making a transfer that requires an international-transfer mechanism under applicable law, SBG will identify the data and recipient and put an appropriate lawful mechanism in place. Depending on the transfer, this may include an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. You may contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data.
13. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may manage some account information within the app.

We may verify your identity before completing a request. Some records may be retained when required for legal, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, transaction, or security purposes.
14. ACCOUNT DELETION
Users who can create an account may request deletion through the in-app account-deletion feature where available or through our contact page. Deleting an account may not remove records that SBG must retain for lawful business, financial, fraud-prevention, dispute, or regulatory reasons.
15. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
SBG Marketplace is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required authorization. If we learn that such information was collected improperly, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The app and website may contain links to third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and SBG is not responsible for those independent practices.
17. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, practices, providers, or legal requirements. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page.
